DuoWala

Terms of Service

Last updated: 27 August 2026

These terms govern your use of DuoWala, operated by DuoWala. By using the app or this site you agree to them.

What DuoWala is

DuoWala is a listing platform. Owners list rooms, flats, PG accommodation and mess services; seekers browse and contact them directly. We are not a broker, agent, landlord or party to any agreement you make. We do not inspect properties, verify ownership beyond the checks described in the app, or guarantee that any listing is accurate or still available.

Your account

You need a working phone number to sign in, and you must be 18 or older. Keep your device secure — activity from your account is treated as yours.

Listing rules

  • List only property you own or are authorised to list.
  • Prices, photos and details must be truthful and current.
  • No discrimination on the basis of religion, caste, region, gender, disability or marital status.
  • No brokerage listings posing as owner listings, and no duplicates.

We may remove a listing, or suspend an account, that breaks these rules. Listings are reviewed before going live, but review is not a guarantee of accuracy.

Payments, wallet and plans

Some features — such as unlocking an owner's contact details or promoting a listing — are paid. Payments are processed by Razorpay. Wallet credit, bonuses and referral rewards are promotional balances: they can be spent within DuoWala and are not redeemable for cash unless the app explicitly offers a withdrawal for that balance.

Refunds

A paid unlock is delivered immediately and is not refundable once the contact has been revealed. If a payment is charged but the feature was not delivered, write to support@duowala.in with the payment id and we will correct it.

Content you post

You keep ownership of your photos and text. You give us permission to host and display them within DuoWala so the service can work. You are responsible for having the right to post what you upload.

Conduct

Do not scrape the service, abuse the API, harass other users, or use DuoWala for anything unlawful.

Liability

DuoWala is provided as-is. Deals you make are between you and the other person. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from a listing, a transaction, or a dealing with another user. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms; the date above will change. You may stop using DuoWala at any time and ask us to delete your account.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Ranchi, Jharkhand have jurisdiction.
